No Man is an Island

Very true that no man's an island. Even the most reserved person in the whole world needs someone to hold on to or to talk to. It has been a struggle for someone to accept that he can't go on in life alone. He just needed someone.

One thing that I've learned in life is to cope with its deadening force. No one can cope with a broken relationship or a failed marriage alone. It requires huge amount of time to heal and the unconditional love of that person's family and friends. However, even your though family and friends are always there for you; No one can truly exactly understand what you are going through and what you've been through except for one; Jesus.

No one can truly understand and can genuinely help you in times of need. One of the best thing that a person in need can do is to kneel in prayer and ask God to help him or her in this tough situation of his or her life.

Maybe there are things that you can't really bear, but with God, His strength is enough to carry anything you tell him. :)

Learn how to trust Him in giving your life -everything about you, every part of it. He'll gladly direct you in a way He sees you living your life to the fullest. :)

Pages

Pages of life. Every page is unique. Each page tells a story, an experience, a love story, a heartache and joys. Every now and then, people would find themselves in an awkward place where they don't even know what's it's called. Every page is different from others. It can not repeat itself, however it may feel like an experience happened before but on a different level. Still it ain't the same.

We are like a book; Carefully being thought of, Creatively created, Delicately written by Someone higher than any of us. No one can understand what will happen to our story. Only God and person can work hand in hand in making a beautiful life story that people around him will enjoy reading soon. Unless there's a giving of life or should I say surrendering a pen or pencil to the One who knows much better about life. Him who only knows how to write beautiful life story on each pages of life, unless the pen is being fully surrendered to Him, the book will be never done.

My Autumn Winter Spring

In life, there are many pre-requisites that one must experience before understanding what life really is all about. Amazing at how the Lord our God made everything for us peacefully in. God wants us to live in harmony with him and with the entire creation that he has created for every living creature. However things went a little bit out of hand not so long ago and the result is now. That is not grammatically wrong. What I was trying to point out is that, we are suffering the consequences of what we've done; we as human being. We abused every thing that God has made for us; taken for example the air we breathe, the water we drink and the wind that should replinish our tired body. All of those are now polluted. Whatever we are experiencing right now are the results of the things done in the past.

I am not an advocate of nature. Infact, I don't mind the nature because God holds us and is taking care of us but as I contemplate on how things are going and thinking end results in mind, I became a little bit cautious and I've found that it is important for each and everyone of us to be responsible in taking care of our home; Earth.

I don't want my grand children to live in a virtual world where they can only see oxen, sheeps, dogs, carabaos, hipopotamus, coconut trees, maple trees, pine trees, rabbits in a hologram. I want them to experience what is it like inhaling fresh air of the morning, listening to the music of the birds in the woods, bathing in the streams of a mountain, enjoying the rain and playing under the sun. If we don't take care of what we can save today, those who will go after us will suffer greatly because of our irresponsibilty. All the signs of destructions are here. Let's not wait for any organization to step up and plan for something. Start today in your own ways of saving our planet. We cannot live in another planet. There isn't any other planet in the milky way that a human being can live. God has provided everything for us and it is our responsibility to take care of it. Everything that we are seing outside this earth are the marvelous signs that God is truly amazing and is powerful over us.

I just hope that we will create that passion for the next generation of human beings to live in our planet. I just hope that they can still experience the autumn winter spring.......

The Sun that always shines

One early morning in a beautiful lagoon, my father and I rode our 2-seater old mahogany boat. We both love our early morning sails; the fresh cold winds on our faces, the icy-cold water that splashes on my face while my father tries to control the boat when it wiggles. We don't do fishing when we go out. We just hang out and watch the beautiful sun rises above the sky, giving him every light that he has to the earth to show God's majestic power. My father wouldn't allow me to hold the oars because he's afraid that my hands would get hurt. Funny, but all those time I thought that he just wouldn't let me. We were on the boad, him beside me as we watch the sun slowly rises above the sky. It was the most beautiful thing that my eyes have seen in my life. I saw how the everything lightens up and suddenly became really beautiful in my eyes. In my amazement, I looked at my father's old-aged face. He was smiling. His blue eyes reflects the sun, so peaceful. I smiled at him and he looked, smiled back at me. He tapped my head and said "like the sun, I will do everything and will give everything for you to shine and be beautiful as what you've seen here. To protect you and be sure of your future. With the best of my ability I will do it, I promise, cricket!" Then he hugged me oh so tightly. I saw my father's eyes rolled tears. I don't have any idea what he has said but I might understood the emotions he's trying to show. He loves me so much. I embraced him tightly too and said close to his ear "Daddy If there's one wish that God would ask me, I'll ask him to not let the sun down." My heart thumped and my eyes suddenly shed tears. I saw the big white seagull's flying, the pack of deers coming out from the bushes, the strong huge trees in the forrest and it's mouthwatering fruits, the cute colorful butterflies flying around the beautiful little flowers all in different hues in the field; heaven. I might be in heaven i thuoght. There's nothing in this world I could ask for more but this. I prayed to God earnestly to not let the time pass. That my father would always be like this forever. As my prayer flew in the heavens, as everything grows majestically in every place, so as my father and I. We hugged each other as long as we can.

Dreams.. Dreams.. Dreams..

I have seen countless of dreams made come true by those people who once owned them. I wonder if I can make my dreams come true too. It's just there are so many things that I want to do in my life time with so little time and little resources that I have at the moment.

What are the reasons why I want to do the many things that I want to do? And keep on dreaming big? I have no particular answer with those questions but I have this in my mind: That in every experiences in your life;either failure or success you find it in your heart that you want to do more. You can feel it in the deepest part of your heart that you can do so much better than what you have been doing and that you can do huge things as well.

What kills dreams is fear. Fear in all forms and sizes. Fear, if you choose to keep will subtly eat your dreams until you forget them! That's what I've learned in my 24 years of living in this amazing life. If you have a dream or dreams, don't be shy in pursuing them regardless of what you will hear in achieving it. It's your dream not theirs. It is you who will benefit, it is you who will gain it. Just make sure that in whatever plans you may have better consult it with God first because if it isn't His will, whatever you do, it won't happen. Don't feel bad if what you had planned never worked out, it only means that God has a much better and bigger plan for you! Don't lose hope! God is just shaping your future. You can endure life's pains! Believe me!

Though I have so many things that I want to do, I have to choose which one of them should come first. I can't do everything at once because I just can't; No one else can either. So, first thing's first. Which one should go first by the way? hmmm.. let me think about that.. and hopefully will come out with something concrete! I know what you're thinking! I didn't put list my dreams here on purpose but I have those in my mind, so no worries! :)

For now, I have to have a degree in B.S SAVING beacuse I really sucked at doing this. I didn't learn how to save when I was a little kid though. So, learning saving when you're a grown up and handling your own money's kinda difficult, but i guess I can do it! :) That's my frist step! :)

What is a Mother?

A mother is someone who has given birth to a child. That's what the definition of a mother according to our dictionary but what is it with motherhood that most women would like to be someday?

There are different faces of motherhood. The only face that a child can sometimes see is the strict face of a woman who hinders them of doing what they want to do. A woman who doesn't understand them in any way possible at any point in their youth life. Someone who doesn't know how to listen to their heartaches, who has favoritism, who loved the other child. The one person in the world that will know the least of oneself.

What is it like being in their shoes? Nine months of waiting and so many hours in the labor room and finally enduring the pain of giving birth to the most important person in the planet for her. YOU. What is it like raising a child that doesn't understand the pains of what life can give them? Understanding the ins and the outs of a compulsive mind, the mood swings of a moody child? The one person who sees you in the most special way that none of your friends can never see. The one person who sacrificed if not all but most of the joys, the luxury, the happenings, the reunions, the physical affirmation. She. Your mother.

You may have neglect her in some ways she doesn't deserve. We may forget her birthday or any special events in her life. We may have missed her shopping day or forgot to call in one of your night outs. You may often keep her awake late at night waiting for you to be home. Whatever it is, she's always there and doesn't complain about all the things that you've missed in her life but she keeps a hopeful heart that in time things will change for you and that you will understand everything.

Most of us have mothers to go home to. A mother that will aide in every painful experience that we may experience in life. You may not notice her doing everything for you. You may not understand her value today but in time you will, I hope that it won't be too late for you to appreciate her. You may not love her the she loves you today but in time, in God's time, you will love her for who she is and in what she does.  In God's time, whatever indifference's you may have it will be gone like a dark cloud in the sky that has been blown by the wind.

Motherhood is one challenging and worth sacrificing among any kind of works. Motherhood doesn't have any job descriptions, for it is one of the most unique responsibility that a woman can choose and ready to die for. Being a mother is sacrificing for your child's happiness. Being a mother is being patient to wait until her child will understand their life and situation. Being a mother doesn't stop after giving birth, seeing her child graduate and even walking her down that aisle. Being a mother is a permanent responsibility. It is not work for motherhood doesn't require any salary for her to keep on going. Being a mother is giving love everyday in the most unique way she possibly can.

She was once like you. A Brat, witty, funny, crazy, can't get enough, moody, clumsy, cry baby, good friend, teachers pet, good listener, childish, shopaholic, loves escaping whatever, cuts classes too, sexy, wise, good follower, says her opinion even though it's harsh, loving even though it hurts, facing the toughest storm in her life, worrisome, troublesome. You name it she was once like you. In her most unique way she has been there at your moment. What is it in being a mother that we don't understand? I have no answer. Every mother is unique. Learn how to love your mother for it is what God wants us to do.

Whatever you may call her, today is the best day to give back to everything she has done for us. Everything she has been sacrificing for our happiness. For the most wonderful, beautiful, patient, open hearted, open minded, crazy, childish, obedient and who loves me unconditionally. To my mother, I am sorry for everything that I've caused you. I thank God for you and for letting me understand what you've been and for what you have become because of your experiences and to all the mothers who are enduring the pains of motherhood.
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! you deserve more than thanks. More than our sacrifice for you have laid your life or us. You deserve more.

God bless!

When your friends get married and have kids...

Don't you find it a little bit off when all of your friends get married, then they'll having kids and you are still single? It's one disturbing thing to think about!

You may say that not all of your friends are getting married but they have their lovelives fixed, geez that's a totally different thing! You'll feel a little bit panicky on the side when you realize that you are the only person in your group of cute friends who have not been in a relationship at all- especially if you are in your mid-20s! The news will hit you like a thunder bolt!

First, don't panic girl! Things are still normal with you! It's just it's your friends' time to walk down that aisle. I know it's every woman's dream. Don't rush things and don't you ever question God why your prince in his knight in shining armor hasn't arrived yet! Patience is a virtue, remember! :)

Secondly, being single is so much fun! You can be whenever, wherever and whatever you wish to be! Life is vast! There are so many things to do than to think about the things you don't have yet. Concentrate on the first thing you can achieve like go to graduate school and get a masters degree or go to a place you have never been to before or become a very good nanny to your friends' kids and be thankful at being single!

Thirdly, your time will come. I know this bible verse has been everywhere but let me share it with you; 1 Corrinthians 13:4-7 (The Message):
 " Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.
   Love doesn't strut,
   Doesn't have a swelled head,
   Doesn't force itself on others,
   Isn't always "me first,"
   Doesn't fly off the handle,
Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,
   Doesn't revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
   Puts up with anything,
   Trusts God always,
   Always looks for the best,
   Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end. "

If our very patient Lord isn't in a hurry about our love life, so why hurry? Take your time. Keep on praying! For sure your Prince charming in his knight in shining armor is just around the corner waiting for you to stand out! :)

P.S
Don't you like it that you like it that you can still stay free and gorgeous godmother to all of your friends' kidos! :)

Have you ever thought...

What will happen in a community where people don't simply trust each other? Or let's just put it in a much simpler situation. A family. What will happen if every member of a family is arguing about something? and that in every thing that needs to be decide upon will end in a long winding argument and will never be resolved at all?

Our country is facing another milestone or should I say another controversies? Changing the way vote won't be an easy thing. Being in the government isn't easy at all. We, Filipinos are highly intellectual being that we are fond of noticing mistakes and we love pin-pointing, condemning others for their faults. That character has been in our bloodstream for ages.

The media made us aware about the things that we can do during this time. They have a point however sometimes freedom has boundaries as well. I believe that they know what to do, what to give out to the public and what to keep. Not all news are beneficial so it is better to filter the news that are being shown in every form of media.

We can do something to make a difference. That's right but the biggest question is how? Every person is unique. Every one has their own ways of doing things. We have our individuality. However shouldn't be those unique individuality should help this nation be united? We are living under one nation but this nation has been divided by so many things; religion, point of views, motives, wealth, education and even the clothes we wear. We have been separated by these unseen wars that has been hiding in ourselves for centuries. Unless we settle everything that we have been hiding, this war will never cease.

I believe you know what has been happening. People is crying for help. Fairness has been long forgotten by many people. Helping comes only in time of crisis. Compassion is never present when people needed it. What's happening to the so called the-best-nation?

We love praising ourselves too much that we fail to act on the simplest things that we always neglect. We love pointing at people for their faults because we thought it's not right! We love to complain at almost everything at anything! However, Have we ever lay our individualities behind and start doing things as one nation? I guess not.

Unless we understand the word NATION and TRUST, peace won't be anywhere closer to us; no change and no future for our kids in this nation! Let the government officials do their work. Let yourself do your own work as well. No one will stand for you and for us but ourselves. If you will go against by what has been written in here... then act for yourself. This will be an unending cycle downwards. Unless one give way, unless there's a chance to break and stop what has been happening it is only the time we will live in peace and in success.

Act! Do! Shut up!

Just Observing

When I was a kid, I never learned how to love and appreciate the things around me; my family, my friends, just about everything that was relatively and physically close to me. I know it's weird. I never learned the word value until someone made me experience it; Being valued.

Let us not talk about who that person was. I believe that God lets us knew each other because of this reason and I am very thankful of Him because of him. Things have changed after that strong bumped and made me see things clearly now. I can say that bumped was one good thing that had happened to my life. So to him (I chose not to mention his name because he's been long gone. Maybe he's happy.. for sure.) Thanks

I guess the turning point in my life happens last month(that's April). I can say that April 23 is my FREEDOM DAY. :) I have witnessed the things that I messed up with, the things that I have neglected, the people I never dared to offer a helpful hand with, the family that I have closed my mind and heart with, the friends that I never thought would be an instrument for the many things that need to be healed in me (that sentence is awkward), the talents that even in my wildest dream I possessed and are waiting to be polished. I just have tons of things to work on. It was as if I slept for a thousand years and woke up with tons of spider webs plus many things to clean to. What a mess! That's the right phrase for me.

It's my decade. This is my silver year. :)

Unconditional Obedience - draft

“Whom shall we send? – Here I am Lord send me”
“God said it, I will do it”

When we obey, isn’t it we ask ourselves first before we follow? We often do the things that are acceptable and easy to do. Things that we choose for ourselves because we think it is enough; rightful enough; Christian enough.

Obeying is one of the hardest characters to develop especially if you are not being raised in a family wherein values are strictly imposed, though there are some individuals who are still in the process of developing this character find it really difficult regardless of their situation in their family or in their life.

In life, there are many things that you have to obey; the government bylaws, your school’s policies, traffic rules, company’s regulations and your parents’ instructions. Whatever you may call it there are things that we are bounded to do. If you fail to comply in any of these there are certain consequences that you have to endure. Living life can be complicated or easy depending on your point of view.

God created every one of us with our own abilities and capabilities to decide on ourselves; for ourselves. Who God is in your life will conclude the course of your life. Tons of people won’t give another second look about who God is and what He can do for their lives. It’ll be hard to determine your purpose in life most especially if where you are going to is blurred out.

A good thought is this: Unconditional Obedience. Obeying God is difficult if you have no idea who to follow to. It’s like trying reading a map – easy? Oh well try to read a map without any idea of how to read one – still easy? You can properly follow if you know who to follow to.

God have laid out several “house rules” and these should be followed. It is expected to be followed. Rules are being made by God for our own benefits; for our own good. God will still be God even without these rules. We, people cannot live in total peace if God haven’t laid out these practical directions.

Rules are not walls for the people who are following God to contain themselves inside. It is not to isolate yourself because God said not to sit in the seats of the mockers. We are still living in the world, in our community, with our friends and relatives who don’t have any idea who truly God is. It is not right to contain yourself inside the rules that you think God have been imposed to for you. God doesn’t design these rules for us to be inside our protective walls. Besides, if you continually do that, you will be contradicting everything you believe in.

In order for a person to completely obey God; the person must know who God is in his life and accept the fact that God isn’t only a God but His Savior as well. How do you know you are following God? Your heart will tell you.

God honors your heart and your decisions. He understands. He completely understands you. In fact, because God loves you so much, He is patient enough to wait for you in trusting Him with your own life. Only then, you will know that your life is in the right path. When you lay your life to God, you wouldn’t ask God where in the world you will be sent to. You wouldn’t be asking yourself if God’s will is comfortable for you or not. You will simply follow because you understand who God is in your life.

God hears your heart. He knows that you want to follow Him. He knows that people needs time to prepare himself, to decide upon himself and to completely lay himself to be a sacrifice to God. Unconditional Obedience.
